What a lively square – Old Town Square (Staroměstské náměstí). It’s a must-visit destination offering a rich blend of history, architecture, and vibrant city life. Bustling with activity, it features numerous cafes and restaurants perfect for enjoying drinks and food. The beautiful, breathtaking architecture of the surrounding buildings and the cobbled streets add to its charm. I’ve visited every day during my stay in Prague. The highlights of the square are mesmerizing: the Astronomical Clock, the Gothic Church of Our Lady before Týn with its distinctive twin spires, and the Jan Hus Memorial statue in the center. It’s so, so beautiful.

Very busy because it was a very nice place. I can’t help but feel with a few less people it would have been even nicer but I guess it adds to the atmosphere. I’d like to visit again out of season to see the difference. Plenty of places to seat and eat or drink while taking in the scenery.

It is busy during the daytime! It’s hustle and bustle with tourists from near and far. There are churches, restaurants, tour groups and so much more. Prague Astronomical Clock is located here so beware of the crowds. I found that i would always cut through to get to the other sides, but not be a stopping point for me. Nice for a look, too touristy for me.

The Old Town Square in Prague is one of the vibrant tourist places full of life and activities. I was also impressed by the historical buildings and its wonderful alleys that take you back to the past, with dozens of cafes, restaurants and shopping in every street. It is a beautiful and wonderful city, the best in Europe in my opinion. You can also spend 3 to 4 days to see its beautiful landmarks.

The town square is aesthetically pleasing. It is advisable to visit during the spring or autumn seasons to avoid large crowds. I spent four days there, which was insufficient time to fully experience all that the city has to offer. 😄 The city is exceptionally beautiful! 😍
