The iconic Louvre pyramid can be accessed in the square without purchase of a museum ticket (you see the top of the pyramid along with multiple mini pyramids near by). The square was very crowded when we visited midday on a weekday but beautiful views regardless!!

There are few places in the world more iconic than this one. I don't know of any. At first, I was quite unhappy with the idea of mixing modern architecture with this 16th-17th century building, but over time I came to find it to be pure genius. I think not everyone will agree with me, and that's the beauty of it.

It was amazing to see that much crowd during Olympic restrictions.. beautiful place to visit at any time. Advance booking tickets are highly recommended in case if you planning to visit the museum. Unfortunately fountain ⛲️ were off but never mind next time ..

Even though I didn’t go inside the Louvre Museum, stopping by to take photos of the front was still worthwhile. The grand building and the iconic glass pyramid make for fantastic photo opportunities. It’s also very easy to get to, with a nearby Metro station making the trip convenient. Visiting the exterior is definitely worth it, even if you don’t make it inside.

My wife and I went to the grounds of an evening. There was a lovely violinist playing and a gorgeous sunset. Very romantic. I have not been into the museum but I would recommend just visiting the area in the early evening as the sun is setting. Very beautiful
