The Arc and the symbol of this is a glorious site to see. The people however are not. Everything you hear about the rudeness of the French is about all true. It’s not all of the French people but a very good majority. The beauty of this country almost outweighs that one glaring fact. I digress. There are 296 steps to the top or you can take an elevator , but be aware the elevator is small and the line can get long. Once to the top the views are spectacular. If you come here be careful of thieves and robbers especially on the Metro. Head on a swivel watch your 6

Easy to access by the subway. The lineup wasn't too long and the staff were very helpful with wayfinding. The stairs were a bit of a climb but they were so worth the magnificent view of Paris! Most of the landmarks were visible and during the sunset, it was a beautiful view.

Must see before the Eiffel Tower, but a very cool site that I didn't initially care to see. Great souvenirs, and we got to see the Olympics ceremony completely by accident. LOTS of winding stairs. Made us very dizzy.

Very nice place to visit. There was a line of people standing in the middle of the divided highway taking pictures, and it was hilarious to watch the cancerous "influencer" type culture. The structure itself looks bigger in real life than in pictures. There are two ways to get there through underground tunnels.

A nice memorial with beautiful views from the very top! We only waited about 40 minutes total, through 2 different lines (one to buy tickets and the other to get through security) to get to the elevator. For those not capable of walking up the 284 steps to the level where there’s a shop and then access to the roof, there is an elevator. But once you get to this level on the elevator, you’ll still have about 40 more steps to get to the roof. It’s great to walk around and see the different sites around Paris.
