Hibiya Park is a relatively small park adjacent to Kokyo (the Imperial Palace). Despite its size, the park is well-maintained and charming, reflecting its long history. I wouldn't necessarily recommend visiting during the humid summer months, but if you have the chance to relax at the café within the park, it can be quite enjoyable. Unless there are large events happening nearby, you'll feel more like you're in a large private garden than a public park. It was a pleasant experience!

Hibiya Park Was one of the little parks we thought we should pop by since we were around the area. Not a main attraction. But something we thought would be ok to see a little of. It definitely isn’t a big park by any measure. But it was one where you could catch a glimpse of the local people’s lifestyle / habits / interactions. Many couples were sitting on benches, having little sandwiches / snacks. Very children friendly as well. Saw a few mums with kids in the pram and another running around. I thought it was lovely to see an old couple was also taking a stroll Surprisingly saw numerous tourists showing up during my walk in the park too. Not a sea of blooms, but there are splatters of flowers here and there. I say splatter in terms of quantity but the flowers are actually thought out and well maintained. Birds have probably gotten used to humans, didn’t budge a bit when even I got closer to take pics. Maybe I came at a time when it was less green, but no less vibrant in terms of visitors. Best to stop by in a season where it’s greener. Nonetheless only a short while was spent here. P.S. they use mini electronic lawn mowers here? Lol

The ponds are nice, and they have good recreational areas such as tennis courts and plenty of benches. It seems like bicycles are allowed on most parts of the park. There are plenty of water fountains, and greenery.

Beautiful well-maintained park in the middle of Tokyo city! As a local this is one of people’s favorite parks to visit. It has a beautiful lake, old bonsai trees, plenty of park benches, open spaces, etc. Visit and you’ll know!
